The Company--Cotton-Grave 

In 1960, Ben Abben, for 27 years a widely know and respected farm loan supervisor and farm manager for the Equitable of Iowa Life Insurance Co., formed his own farm management, real estate, and appraisal business.  Mr Abben remained active in the Abben-Cotton firm until his death in 1981.  

In 1965, John Cotton joined the firm which was then named Abben-Cotton Farm Management and Realty.  The firm enjoyed rapid growth and now manages farm properties in Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

Gary Grave joined the firm on January 1, 1982, and he joined Mr. Cotton as a partner in Cotton-Grave Farm Management and Realty on January 1, 1985.

Cindy Parrish joined the firm in 2001 as the firm's business manager.
